FIGHTING WORDS WORKSHOP

The P6s took part in a creative writing workshop, called Fighting Words, at the Skainos Centre. The children created characters and plots collaboratively and then suggested lines to make a start to the story. They then worked in groups with a writing mentor to continue their own ideas for the story and create some illustrations to accompany the text. The children had a great time and really enjoyed the freedom to express themselves and the open-ended use of creativity and imagination.
