Sport's Day

We went to Grosvenor to have our Sport's Day. It was so much fun!!

Pirate Fun Day!

Captain Sweetlove, Captain Scott and Captain Williamson were joined by two super crews on Friday 22nd May!

Here they are below taking time to pose for a photo on board our pirate ship!

We had a busy morning making treasure maps, decorating 'treasure island' biscuits, designing photoframes and eating special pirate party food!

Then a special visitor arrived! Captain Blackbeard had sent his parrot with a message...he needed some help to follow the clues and find the treasure! We had to look all around the playground for it!

Thank you to everyone for the effort put into the costumes! Also thank you to the mum who came in and made balloons for all the children!

Visit From The Dogs' Trust

The P1s enjoyed a visit from Kathy and Jedd the dog! We learned about things that dogs need and how to approach a dog safely. Jedd was very well-behaved and performed some 'tricks' for us. Our favourite part was giving her a stroke before she left. She was very soft!

TERRIFIC THURSDAY!!

The P1 boys and girls had a great Fun Day! We had a teddy bears' picnic, ran a mile around the school, played games in the playground and used the parachute. We also did some teddy bear art work. Everyone went home very tired!!

Our Spring Walk

We went for a walk around the school grounds to look for signs of Spring.

W5 Trip

In March the P1 children and staff went on a trip to W5 accompanied by some parents. We participated in a senses workshop and had fun playing in 'Discovery'. Here are some photos of our day!

Safety Sam

As part of our Building Site topic, we had a visit from 'Safety Sam'. He talked to us about how to keep safe on and near building sites. We had a great time trying on protective clothing!

P1 Visit From the Vet

P1 had a visit from Alison the vet as part of our topic about pets. She told us about her job and how she looks after different animals. She brought a special visitor….Squeaky the guinea pig! Have a look at the photos.
