Primary 3 had great fun on their Sports Activity Day. A big thank you to Grosvenor Grammar for allowing us to use their sports pitches. It was brilliant to see everyone joining in and cheering on their friends. Well done everyone!
Our trip to Ikea
On Wednesday 27th April, P3 Room 14 went to Ikea. We have been looking at the topic of Houses and Homes and this trip was a super link to our area of study on sustainability.
Charlie Day!
P3 have been reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. On Tuesday 11th April we had a fun filled activity day. We all dressed up as a character from the book and the classrooms were transformed into a sweet factory! We had a brilliant day!
My day at the chocolate factory by Gracie Ashbridge
I dressed up as Veruca Salt. I had a pink glittery dress on and a small star handbag. Veruca Salt is a very bossy girl. She says "I want this, I want that" all the time to her mum and dad. The classroom was amazing, I loved it. It had big lollipops and small lollipops, all my friends loved it too. I did a book review with Mrs McCullagh, an interview with Miss Sherrard and I created a wrapper for the winning chocolate bar design. My favourite part of the day was having lots and lots of fun with my friends. Thank you Mrs McCullagh.
Primary 3 have been busy writing postcards about what we have been learning in school. We went on a walk to the local postbox to post them. We took a walk around the neighbourhood to look at the different types of houses and other features that we could find in the streets around our school.
In P3 our topic has been Houses and Homes. We have been busy making paper houses. Take a look...
Primary 3 had a visit from John Wilson from the PSNI. He taught us how to keep safe on the road.
We went on a lovely walk around Orangefield Park to look for signs of Autumn.
This week, we have been sequencing instructions. Obviously, the best way to do this, was to make and eat and some pizza!
In P3, we recently had a "Slipper Day". In keeping with our Nighttime topic, we got to wear our slippers to school and watch Bedtime Stories. We also had a special visitor that day - Debbie Doolittle. We had a lot of fun meeting and learning about her animal friends!
