• 2026 Poppy Appeal!

  CHARITY POPPY APPEAL
  After Half Term, starting on Monday 2nd November, a range of Poppy Appeal items will be on sale at break time from Mr Cousley’s room.
  
  See the picture for items on sale. Items are either £1 or 50p.
  The items will be sold on a first come, first served basis, and they usually sell out after a few days.
  
  Normal poppies (pin-on or stick-on) can also be obtained for a small donation.
  
  All money raised will go to The Royal British Legion.
  Thank you for your support of this charity.

  Our annual school photograph day will take place on Tuesday 3 November.
  
  To ensure your child’s photograph is taken, parents must register online by 7.00pm on Monday 2 November.

  ✅ Add your child’s details and submit your registration
  
  If you would like a sibling photograph, please select this option during registration.

  📢 Harvest Celebration and Food Bank Collection – Friday 23 October
  
  As part of our Harvest celebrations on Friday 23 October, all children from Year 1 to Year 7 will take part in a special Harvest Service in school, pupils only.
  
  We would be very grateful if families who are able to do so could send in a tin or packet of non-perishable food items. Orangefield Primary School will donate all contributions to a local food bank to support families in our community.
  
  The food bank has also advised that they are currently running particularly low on the following items:
  • Brown sauce and red sauce
  • Biscuits
  • Chocolate and sweets
  • Shampoo
  • Shower gel
  • Deodorant
  • Toilet rolls
  • Kitchen roll
  
  Any donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your continued kindness and support in helping others. 💚💛

  🎃 Halloween Costume Swap Shop 🎃
  
  The PTA are delighted to be organising a Halloween Costume Swap Shop to help families save money and support sustainability.
  
  📅 Friday 2nd October
  ⏰ 8:30am to 9:00am
  📍 Outside the school hall
  
  We would be grateful for donations of any pre-loved Halloween costumes, accessories, hats, capes, masks or props that your children have outgrown or no longer need.
  
  🎭 Donation drop-off:
  Please leave any items in the collection box beside the Pre-Loved Uniform Shop from Monday 28th September.
  
  All donated items will be available at our FREE Swap Shop, giving families the opportunity to pick up a Halloween costume for this year at no cost.
  
  Thank you for supporting this PTA initiative and helping to reduce waste while giving costumes a second life! ♻️👻
