  • Choir Success!

    Sat 02 May 2015

On Thursday 23rd April the senior choir, consisting of 49 singers, went to compete in two classes in the Bangor International Choral Festival.  Altogether, six choirs took part.  The choir had worked hard to polish and perfect their four pieces.  Although we weren’t placed in the own choice class, we were delighted to come first in the sacred music class.  We won a trophy and £150 but, more importantly, our hard work and dedication this year was recognised!  The whole school is so proud of the choir’s achievements.  Special congratulations go to Sophie McCallum and Starr Dougherty for singing their solo so beautifully in front of a packed hall.
